Political allegations
By our correspondents
June 04, 2016
In the wake of the Panama leaks, our politicians seem to be using a philosophy of demand after demand. Whenever the opposition makes a demand to the prime minister to declare his assets, the opposition gets the same demand – to declare its own assets first. Every new demand from the opposition is met with some demand from the government, and vice versa.
Moreover, if one party uses harsh language against its rivals, the other party replies in the same tone. This attitude is not going to help solve anything. The politics of allegation and counter-allegation should come to an end.
