My phone rang and a young lady politely told me that she is representing a telecom company and wishes to introduce to me a new package with more efficient services but at an enhanced price. The company provides a combined package consisting of a land-line telephone, multi-channel TV and internet. I told her that we rarely use the landline phone. We watch a lot of TV and use the internet for our laptop and other daily affairs.
Unfortunately, the company’s telecasting is very poor. The TV resolution is usually distorted, sound vanishes now and then or the picture becomes still. The Internet is much slower than the speeds mentioned. It was very difficult for me to keep my voice down and make these complaints to the young lady, who ignored my complaints and insisted that I should opt for the new package with the added price.
