GUJRANWALA: Three youths, including two brothers, died in a fog-related accident on GT Road here on Thursday.Reportedly, two brothers and their classmate were moving on a motorcycle when a speeding truck hit them near Rahwali, leaving all of them dead on the spot. Rescue-1122 team shifted the bodies to the DHQ Hospital.
Reportedly, due to a sudden fire at the power transformer of the 132KV grid college road the power supply to 35 feeders was discontinued. On the instructions of the Gepco CEO, senior officers of Gepco and emergency teams of operation reached the spot and started work to restore power supply. Gepco Chief Muhammad Engineer Muhammad Ayub said the Gepco staff is busy in immediate restoration of power supply and power supply of the affected feeders will be restored within hours.
