Academician praised for work in HRM
PESHAWAR: Speakers at a function on Wednesday praised Prof Dr Wali Rahman of the Sarhad University of Science and Technology for his work in the field of Human Resource Management (HRM).
The said Dr Wali Rahman had brought a transformative impact to the Department of Business Administration at the varsity by setting new benchmarks for academic and professional excellence.
In the last 10 years, he led the department that offered a diverse array of undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate programs.The department gained the distinction of the first private university that has its Business Administration Dept.
It secures accreditation for three consecutive terms from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.Dr Wali Rahman is a member of academic bodies (Board of Studies and Board of Faculty) for three leading universities wherein his inputs have been asked for in the development of academic policies and curriculum development.
On the research side, he has published 47 research articles in national and international journals, underscoring his dedication to advancing knowledge in HRM and business management.He has produced seven PhD and 10 MS scholars and developed course outlines for approximately 20 subjects for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels.
Dr Wali Rahman was praised for pioneering new research platforms such as the Editor-in-Chief of the Sarhad Journal of Management Sciences, established in 2015, and reviewing over 200 research papers for various esteemed journals, contributing to the academic discourse both in Pakistan and internationally.
