NANKANA SAHIB: The influx of Sikh Yatrees continues in the city as they arrive to participate in a three-day festivities of the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

On Wednesday, a 28-member group of American Sikh Yatrees led by Dr Jugmohan Singh arrived in the city. The Yatrees will visit Gurdwara Janamasthan Nankana Sahib today (Thursday).

Deputy Commissioner Tasleem Akhtar Rao extended a warm welcome to the group at Gurdwara Janamasthan and assured that all arrangements, including accommodation, have been made for the visiting Yatrees. A special train carrying over a thousand Yatrees arrived in the city and was welcomed by the DC.

Meanwhile, the city and its outskirts have been adorned with festive illuminations, creating a celebratory atmosphere. The illumination lights, showcasing various designs, have been installed along roads, including Motorway Nankana, Manawala Road, Dholar Chowk, Railway Road, Ahmad Shah Road, Kashmir Road, and Mangtanwala Road.
