Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) raised Rs 5.5 billion on Wednesday through the auction of 18 commercial plots in sectors G-13 and G-14, setting a record for the Authority. The public auction, held at the Gandhara Citizen Club in F-9 Park, saw strong participation from investors, resulting in substantial revenue for the FGEHA.
According to an official statement, the next phase of the auction will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024, and will include the Kashmir Highway petrol pump, G-14 Markaz, and additional Class-III commercial plots. On the occasion, the Director General of the Housing Authority expressed satisfaction with the positive investor turnout, noting that this reflects growing confidence in the FGEHA and is a promising sign for national progress. He congratulated the investors, assured them of ongoing support, and highlighted the establishment of the Investor Facilitation Cell as an initiative to provide enhanced services for investors.
