A man allegedly killed his wife in Shah Latif Town on Wednesday, with police suspecting the motive to be an honour killing.
The incident occurred at a house in Sector 17-A, under the jurisdiction of the Shah Latif police station. Authorities said the victim, 42-year-old Perveen, was fatally stabbed by her husband, Ali Hassan Shaikh.
Police and rescue teams transported the victim to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where she was declared dead. The husband has been arrested, and the weapon used in the crime has been recovered. Investigations are ongoing.
