Arrest of PTI leaders slammed
PESHAWAR: Advisor to Chief Minister for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has condemned the arrest of senior leaders outside the Adiala Jail, who were on their way to meet PTI founder Imran Khan.
He described the arrests as illegal and a serious violation of human rights, emphasising that such actions strike a severe blow to democracy. Barrister Dr. Saif criticized the government’s indifference and undemocratic behaviour, stating that these acts undermine democratic principles.
Earlier, Barrister Saif attended a conference on “Transforming Higher Education” at IM Sciences, Peshawar. The event was organized in collaboration with public sector, Universities and private institutions. The aim of the conference was to enhance the higher education system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, making it more effective and beneficial for the youth
by providing them with quality educational opportunities. During his address, Barrister Saif emphasized that societal development is always an evolutionary process.
He pointed out that successful societies manage change effectively and adopt responsive rather than reactive strategies. He mentioned that blindly copying the educational and governmental systems of other societies has hindered our progress. He called for thoughtful consideration and strategic decision-making to tackle contemporary challenges.
