A case has been registered against a young woman accused of making a TikTok video at a police post while wearing a police uniform. According to the FIR, the woman wore a T-shirt with the police monogram and khaki pants. The video, set to an Indian song, was filmed inside Nasir Chowki (a police post of the Korangi Industrial Area police station) and later went viral.

The police alleged that this act constituted the misuse of police uniform and an illegal use of police symbols. The FIR was registered at the Korangi Industrial Area police station under sections 170 and 171 of the Pakistan Penal Code. According to the complaint filed by Nasir Chowki Incharge Head Constable Abdullah Shah, he was on duty when he saw the video circulating on WhatsApp groups.

Upon investigating the video, Head Constable Abdullah Shah identified the woman in the video as Khusbu, daughter of Saleem. She was not affiliated with the police force and had misused the police uniform for personal purposes.

The video depicted the woman smoking a cigarette while an officer in uniform was sitting beside her. The incident led to swift action by Korangi SSP Kamran Khan, who suspended the officer involved and ordered a formal inquiry.
