LAHORE:The Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Government of Pakistan, has nominated the Chairman Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) Fahimur Rehman Sehgal as acting Chairman of Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Board.
A statement issued here on Sunday stated that the seat was vacant due to the resignation of the former chairman following which the ministry appointed Sehgal as acting chairman of KPT Board.
The business community across the country has congratulated Sehgal on assuming the post of chairmanship of KPT Board. Sehgal will perform the duties until the appointment of the permanent chairman of the Karachi Port Trust Board and will carry out all the responsibilities.
