The JI chief said the goals of the struggle of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his colleagues yet have to fully realised.
He said the British left but their loyalist ruling elite and colonial system still persist. He called for the dismantling of this colonial legacy.
The JI chief said the elite class has maintained a stranglehold on resources.
He said the breakup of Pakistan in 1970 was due to our failure to fulfill the objectives for which the country was founded.
He said our troubles were based on our failure to implement on the 1973 constitution fully.
The JI chief stressed a peaceful and democratic struggle on behalf of the people to bring the county on the track of progress and prosperity.
