World moot held on psychological research
LAHORE:The Pakistan Psychological Association (PPA) held its 15th International Conference at a local hotel here on Friday. The theme of the conference was "Guiding Practical Areas of Psychology: Research Methods and Current Developments in Pakistan."
More than 60 national and international universities and institutions participated in the event. PPA President, Professor Dr Rafia Rafiq, welcomed the participants and highlighted the association's significant role in research, mental health, and well-being in Pakistan. The conference featured keynote addresses and panel discussions by prominent psychologists, including Professor Dr Ruhi Khalid, Professor Dr. Rukhsana Kauser, Mubashara Tabeer, Professor Dr. Claudia Harzer, Professor Dr Steel Pallesen, and Dr Laura Brown. MNA Riaz Fatyana was also present at the event. The conference concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms Rukhsana Mehmood, Secretary of the PPA. This conference marked an important milestone in promoting psychological research and practice in Pakistan.
