Calling it a “historic win,” Naqvi congratulated the players and management, recognising their efforts in bringing joy to the nation by overcoming a strong Australian team at home. Naqvi acknowledged key performances, particularly noting Haris Rauf and Shaheen Shah Afridi’s powerful bowling spells, which laid the foundation for victory. Captain Muhammad Rizwan’s exceptional wicket-keeping, with six catches, was also commended.
