LAHORE: Following Pakistan’s impressive nine-wicket victory in the second ODI against Australia in Adelaide, former players Mohammad Hafeez and Shahid Afridi shared their excitement on social media, lauding the team’s stellar performance.
This remarkable win marked Pakistan’s first ODI victory at the Adelaide Oval in 28 years, leveling the three-match series at 1-1 and sparking celebration among players and fans alike. Mohammad Hafeez took to X (formerly Twitter) to applaud Pakistan’s “clinical” performance, especially highlighting Haris Rauf’s sensational five-wicket haul. Hafeez congratulated the team for leveling the series and praised the confidence of young batsmen Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique.
