SUKKUR: A day of mourning over the killings in the Safoora Goth shooting incident was observed in Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Ghotki, Nawabshah, Naushehro Feroze, Larkana and other cities on Thursday. Almost all commercial and trade centres remained partially closed. Black flags were hoisted on official buildings and press clubs. Civil society and journalists paid rich tributes to victims of the Safoora incident, which claimed the lives of 45 innocent citizens. They demanded the arrest of the killers and raised fingers at the security agencies, police and other forces for failing to restore peace in Karachi.
