LAHORE: The eighth edition of the Pakistan Industrial Expo, beginning November 9, 2024, is set to make a significant impact at the Lahore Expo Centre, hosting over 130 international companies under one roof.
Organised by Everest International Expo, the three-day event will serve as a crucial platform to showcase the latest advancements across various industries, including CNC machinery, mechanical equipment, industrial components, automotive and motorcycle parts and accessories, hardware tools, construction and decoration, renewable energy, and more. Key participants will include leading Chinese enterprises from the CNC sector, displaying state-of-the-art equipment and technologies.
The exhibition enjoys support from Pakistan’s largest media group, Jang, as well as key institutions like the University of Sargodha, the University of Punjab, the Constructors Association of Pakistan, the Daroghawala Industry Owners Association, the Karachi Chamber of Commerce, the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce, and more than 30 other prominent business chambers and associations.
“This year’s Pakistan Industrial Expo is not just a display of industrial strength; it’s a convergence of innovation, collaboration, and economic opportunity,” said Wang Zihai, director of Everest International Expo, at a pre-event press conference at the Lahore Press Club on Tuesday. “We are proud to have the support of numerous business associations, which underscores the importance of this event in driving economic growth and technological advancement in Pakistan.”
The expo will feature an array of activities, including product launches, technical seminars, and business matchmaking sessions, offering attendees ample opportunities to engage with industry leaders, explore cutting-edge technologies, and form valuable partnerships.
Notable speakers at the event will include Dr Qaiser Abbas, vice chancellor of the University of Sargodha, who will deliver a welcome address highlighting the expo’s role in fostering economic and technological growth in Pakistan, as well as the strategic partnerships between Chinese and Pakistani enterprises. Dr Muhammad Ali, vice chancellor of the University of Punjab, will discuss the importance of academic-industrial collaboration and future initiatives to bridge the gap between educational institutions and the industrial sector.
Naeem Chohadry, vice chairman of the Constructors Association of Pakistan, will commend the expo’s impact on the construction industry and the collaboration opportunities it presents for local builders with international partners. Aasim Rafique, president of the Daroghawala Industry Owners Association, will underscore the expo’s significance for Pakistan’s manufacturing and industrial sectors, discussing strategies to promote industrial growth and competitiveness.
