FFC hosts its annual Breast cancer awareness event
KARACHI: Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) Limited hosted its annual Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness event, underscoring the importance of early detection and support for women affected by breast cancer.
The event, held in solidarity with the global Pink October movement, engaged FFC’s employees and families, featuring impactful addresses and activities designed to spread awareness and encourage proactive health management.
Mrs. Fareeha Jehangir, wife of FFC’s MD and CEO, delivered the keynote speech, emphasizing FFC’s ongoing commitment to health initiatives, including annual financial support for cancer patients, she noted that “Through events like these, FFC remains steadfast in its mission to promote a healthier and more aware communities for the future of Pakistan,”.
The program also featured an enlightening talk by Dr. Safoora Shahid, a distinguished oncologist, who provided valuable insights into breast cancer prevention and the power of early detection. Attendees participated in creating a butterfly mural, symbolizing hope and community strength.
Through its annual Pink Ribbon event, FFC strengthens its role as a corporate leader in health advocacy, fostering solidarity and awareness to help the fight against breast cancer in Pakistan.
