Rawalpindi:The ninth annual three-day free medical camp, organised by the Colonel Abdar Welfare Foundation, will be held on November 5, 6, and 7 from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Talent Groom Academy, a school founded by Shaheed Lt Col Syed Abrar Hussain, on Chakri Road, says a press release.
The camp will offer free eye check-ups, tests, and surgeries for cataracts and lens implants. Additionally, medical specialists, gynaecologists, and psychologists will be available free of charge for the examination of various types of patients, and free medication will be provided. Anyone can visit Talent Groom Academy on the mentioned dates and times to avail themselves of this opportunity for free, whether it is for a check-up, surgery, or medicine. This entire event is made possible through the efforts of Syed Azmat Naqvi, the widow of Shaheed Lt Col Syed Abrar Hussain. So far, 277 successful eye surgeries have been completed as part of this initiative. The journey of restoring eyesight, alongside the illumination of knowledge, continues with dedication.
