ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will pay an official visit to Baku in the second week of November.
Azerbaijan President has invited PM Shehbaz Sharif to the COP29 summit conference scheduled for November 13-15. The Innovation Zone for Climate Action will continue with COP29 in Baku.
The PM is likely to leave for Azerbaijan on Tuesday or Wednesday. Building on its success in promoting rapid and broadly effective climate action during previous COPs, Innovation Zone will enhance cross-sector collaboration, enable partnerships, build capacity and deliver technological solutions. It provides a unique platform for problem-solving between entrepreneurs, investors, governments, cities and proponents of change. Innovation Zone participants do not need Blue or Green Zone approval. It has its own independent registration system and is not linked to Blue and Green Zones of COP29. Approval of an Innovation Zone does not allow entry into Blue or Green Zones.
