PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Adviser for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Saturday clarified that he had not confirmed any contacts with the establishment.
In a statement, he said that some reports quoted him about establishing contacts with the establishment but the facts were otherwise. He said that his interview was being presented out of context.
Barrister Saif reiterated that he had not confirmed any contacts with the establishment. He stressed the need for all institutions to come together and mutually agree to reduce political tension. The adviser also expressed his desire for the release of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan and all political workers as well as restoration of the true democratic process. He urged that the interview should not be distorted in an attempt to mislead the public.
