MARDAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former provincial minister Muhammad Atif Khan has criticized the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) for sending him a notice and said the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had closed the Malam Jabba project case against him. In a video message shared from his social media account, Atif Khan stated why this notice was sent to him and at whose behest it was sent. He argued that such elements wanted to damage the party and Imran Khan. Atif Khan said that by this kind of work, a person showed his status and thinking. He maintained that the NAB conducted an inquiry in the Malam Jabba project and closed this case. He further stated that in 2017 Parveez Khattak was chief minister and Mahmood Khan was tourism minister he was neither the chief minister nor a minister at that time. He recalled that Senator Mohsin Aziz conducted the whole process and he was chairman of the Board of Investment and Azam Khan was secretary tourism. He added that everyone knew why the notice was sent to him at the current time. He said the notice was sent to him that no one should object and no one should speak the truth. He added that it would not matter if someone spoke or not, adding that he would speak the truth no matter what happened. It may be mentioned that the Anti-Corruption Establishment sent a notice to Atif Khan, asking him to appear before the special investigation team on November 12.

The ACE said there was a complaint against the former minister, accusing him of corruption and misuse of authority in the Malam Jabba project.
