Two robbers arrested
The District Korangi police announced the arrest of two suspects following an exchange of gunfire on Saturday, believed to be involved in numerous cases of street crime and robberies.
According to District Korangi SSP Kamran Khan, the arrests were made using a combination of human intelligence and technical resources. The operation was based on information provided by an injured suspect during an encounter at Babar Market, Landhi, on Friday.
SSP Khan reported that Dildar, son of Wazir Hussain, a fugitive from the recent encounter, was arrested along with his accomplice Zubair Chandio while attempting to flee the city. The suspects were captured while riding a motorcycle near Khurramabad Landhi, close to a pipe factory. The police recovered two 30-bore pistols with ammunition, 43 mobile phones, seven wallets, and cash from the suspects.
