Robbers loot cash, valuables in Mardan

MARDAN: Unidentified gunmen forced their entry into a house in Bismillah Town in the limits of Sheikh Maltoon Town Police Station and decamped with foreign currency, 73 tola of gold ornaments and other valuables, police and local sources said.
The sources said that Ashiq Muhammad told police that he was present at his house when six unidentified gunmen entered
his house.
He said that they locked him and his driver Rafique in a room and decamped with 73 tola of gold
ornaments, foreign currency worth millions of rupees, one M16 rifle, one 30 bore pistol and other valuables.
The sources added that on the complaint of
Ashiq Ali, the police registered a case against unknown gunmen under section PPC 395 and started investigations.a
