New Japanese envoy announced

Islamabad : The outgoing Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan, Wada Mitsuhiro, will be succeeded by Akamatsu Shuichi, the former consul-general of Japan in Shanghai, China.
Mr Shuichi is expected to arrive in Pakistan in late November to officially take over from Ambassador Mitsuhiro.
Currently serving as the deputy chief of mission at the Japanese Embassy in Brazil, Mr Shuichi will also assume the responsibilities previously held by Minister Ito Takeshi.

Mitsuhiro is scheduled to depart Pakistan on November 19, as he prepares to take up his new position as Ambassador to Croatia.
