LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered to demolish the factories causing pollution. Justice Shahid Karim of LHC issued written order on the petition of citizen Haroon Farooq and other citizens in connection with eradication of smog. The court ordered to accelerate the action against those involved in burning crops residues. He remarked the factories causing pollution be demolished. The court in its written order sought detailed report from schools department on providing buses to school children for pick and drop. It was said in the order teams have been set up for monitoring the pollution of factories in Sargodha. The court also sought detailed report related to Tollinton market.
