Land dispute claims two lives
NOWSHERA: two persons were killed over land dispute in Badrashi area in Nowshera district on Thursday.
Shafiq, a resident of Badrashi, told the police at District Headquarters Hospital Nowshera that he along with his cousin Shehzad and his friend Waqas was present at the under-construction house of Misal Khan in Zahoorabad, Badrashi area.
During this time, Amanullah and Asad Shakeel, the residents of Badrashi, arrived and started firing at us.
As a result, Shehzad, 25, and Waqas, 25, were killed and their guest, Hashmat, a resident of Hayatabad Phas-1, Peshawar, was severely injured. The complainant said that he saved his life by taking shelter behind a wall. He said that they had a feud with the alleged killers over propert, which had already claimed lives.
The Badrashi police said that one of the suspects Asad Shakeel had been arrested along with the weapon used in the crime, while raids were being conducted to arrest the other suspect.
