KARACHI: Gold prices in the local market dropped by Rs700 per tola on Thursday.
According to All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association data, gold rates in the local market decreased to Rs287,200 per tola.
Similarly, the 10-gram gold price also decreased by Rs600 to Rs246,228.Gold rates decreased by $7 to $2,777 per ounce in the international market. Silver rates, however, increased by Rs100 to Rs3,450 per tola. The price of 10-gram silver also increased by Rs85.73 to Rs2,957.81. Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
