Rawalpindi : Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on organised a ceremony to honour of Malik Muhammad Azam, a long-serving secretary information of JI Rawalpindi JI ameer

JI central naib ameer Liaquat Baloch was chief guest on the occasion while JI (North Punjab) ameer Dr. Tariq Saleem, JI Rawalpindi ameer Syed Arif Shirazai, Raza Ahmad Shah, Shahid Shamsi, Hafiz Sajjad Qamar, Attique Abbasi, senior journalists Nawaz Raza, Rana Ghulam Qadar and others also attended the event.

Syed Arif Shirazi also took oath as Rawalpindi district ameer for another term.

Speaking on the occasion, Liaquat Baloch said that Malik Azam has been a valuable asset of Jamaat-e-Islami and he continued to serve the party at its office despite his poor health.

Dr. Tariq Saleem and Arif Shirazi also paid rich tributes to services of Malik Azam as Secretary Information of Rawalpindi.
