Railways police security plan for Raiwind moot

LAHORE : Railways police has implemented a comprehensive security plan to ensure safety of delegates arriving by train for the first phase of Raiwind Tablighi Ijtima.

According to the security plan issued by SP Railways Lahore, Abrar Abbas, a total of 64 officers and personnel have been assigned to secure the Raiwind Railway Station. This includes one DSP, one Senior Inspector, four Sub-Inspectors, four ASIs, two bomb disposal staff, and 52 constables.

The security staff will be stationed around Raiwind Railway Station, covering entry and exit points as well as the station's rooftop. Additionally, participants arriving and departing from the event will be checked using walk-through gates and metal detectors.

Railway personnel will ensure foolproof security at the station throughout the duration of the Ijtima. The entry of unauthorised individuals at Raiwind Railway Station will be strictly prohibited, and suspicious activities and items will be closely monitored. Furthermore, carrying gas cylinders or stoves on trains will be strictly prohibited.

Special instructions have been issued to the DSP and SHO of Raiwind Railways Police to reinforce security measures.
