LAHORE : Under Jail Reforms Agenda, a persistent issue faced by jail wardens has finally been addressed.
Wardens will now be assigned to a fixed 8-hour shift. Previously, they worked two separate 4-hour shifts, often leading to extended working hours. Prior to this reform, jail wardens were on duty for at least 12 hours. With the new schedule, they will now serve an 8-hour shift, providing a more manageable workload and work-life balance.
