LAHORE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has picked Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer as a mentor for the Future Leaders Programme.

The initiative aims to develop the next generation of cricket leaders while promoting diversity and innovation within the sport.

"It's an honour that the ICC chose me for this role," Naseer commented on his appointment.

In his mentorship role, Naseer will dedicate several hours weekly to guide emerging cricket professionals who have been identified by the ICC for their leadership potential.

These selected candidates will benefit from his extensive experience in cricket administration.

Naseer has been serving the PCB since 2011.
