KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs2,900 per tola on Wednesday in the local market following an increase in the international market. Prices in the local as well as international markets have reached an all-time high with this increase.
The All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association stated that gold rates reached Rs287,900 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,486 to Rs246,828.
Gold rates increased by $29 to $2,784 per ounce in the international market, which is also a all-time high price.
Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs3,350 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also stood the same at Rs2,872.08.
Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
