ISLAMABAD: The federal government has made significant appointments and transfers within the civil and military bureaucracy. Salahuddin Khan, a Grade 22 officer from the Police Service of Pakistan and Commandant of the National Police Academy, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Idris Ahmed, a Grade 21 officer from the Police Service of Pakistan stationed in the Punjab government, has been transferred and appointed as Commandant of the National Police Academy, Islamabad, under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act 1973.
Brigadier Arsalan Israr Mirza, Director General of Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts, has been relieved of his duties, and Brigadier Yasir Javed Khan has been appointed as the new Director General. Additionally, Lieutenant Colonel Sarfraz Khan has been appointed as Director of the Punjab Counter Narcotics Force, with Major Muhammad Farhan Raja serving as Deputy Director.
Major Muhammad Babar was also appointed as Deputy Director within the Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department of the Punjab government. According to the notification, these military officers have been appointed for a three-year term based on prevailing rules and regulations. In the Punjab government, Pakistan Administrative Service Grade 19 officers Shozab Saeed and Muhammad Khalid Saleem have been transferred, and their services have been assigned to the Prime Minister’s Office.
APP photographer Ashraf Hussain has been appointed as Documentation Officer in the CDA for three years on deputation. Ismatullah Shah, a Grade 20 officer from the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service awaiting appointment, has been designated as Chief Finance Officer of the Establishment Division.
Additionally, Abdul Basit Jisra, the Chief Finance Officer of the Establishment Division, has been transferred and appointed as Director General (DM&E) at the AGPR Office in Islamabad. The Establishment Division has officially issued notifications regarding these appointments and transfers.
