Over 23,000 places digitised, says SMBR

LAHORE : Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Nabil Javed has said the process of digitisation of all places of Punjab through Punjab Urban Land Record Systems Enhancement (PULSE) Programme is ongoing rapidly and so far the digitisation of more than 23,000 places of the province has been completed and a notification has been issued.

A meeting of Punjab Urban Land Record Systems Enhancement (PULSE) was held under the chairmanship of Nabil Javed in which performance of Punjab Urban Land Record System Enhancement was reviewed. Complete digitisation of 88 places in Lahore district has been done, which will be completed by December 15. Nabeel Javed said that work on digitisation of 2,249 places in different districts of Punjab is ongoing and in order to speed up the process of digitisation, directions have been issued to all additional commissioners (Revenue) and allied staff of Punjab to complete the digitisation process by November 11. He directed for submitting deposits of all Mauzas to the Board of Revenue. Senior Member Board of Revenue issued directions to Secretary Revenue BoR Hafiz Ahmed Tariq to take immediate action against the officials who are causing delay in submission of deposits and to prepare a report on a daily basis for SMBR.

Nabeel Javed said that the deadline for digitisation of revenue records in Punjab has been fixed till December 30 and no delay will be tolerated in this regard.
