The bridge connecting the Karimabad and Liaquatabad areas of Karachi is in a sorry state and badly needs carpeting and other repair/maintenance work. Deep cracks, cuts and potholes mark the bridge in various places due to the recent monsoon rains.
This hurts the flow of traffic over the bridge and leads to jams during peak hours. The Karachi mayor is requested to visit the site and take remedial measures on a priority basis.
