RAWALPINDI: Well-known television and stage artist Dr. Tariq Wasim, the elder brother of senior photojournalist (Dawn) and member of the governing body National Press Club Tanveer Shahzad’s passed away on Monday, says a press release.
His funeral prayer was offered at Bismillah Chowk, Sheikh Fazal Elahi area, Saddar and later buried in Media Town Cemetery. He was suffering from liver disease. He was survived by two sons and two daughters among the mourners. His ‘qul’ will be observed tomorrow (Wednesday) in a mosque in Sheikh Fazal Elahi area.
