LAHORE:In its 40th meeting for the fiscal year 2024-25, the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved eight development schemes amounting to Rs21.572 billion.
The PDWP meeting was held under the chairmanship of Planning and Development (P&D) Board Chairman Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan. The meeting was attended by P&D Board Secretary Dr Asif Tufail, Chief Economist Masood Anwar, members of the P&D Board, and other officials. The approved schemes include Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control and Communication (PPIC3) Faisalabad at cost of Rs3.859 billion, Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control & Communication (PPIC3) Gujranwala at cost of Rs4.673bn, Rs4.103bn for Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control & Communication (PPIC3) Rawalpindi, Green Energy Projects Financed by KFW Bank Germany (Grant) at the cost of Rs5.098 billion, Feasibility Study for Shifting of Govt Offices to Aimanabad Road, Sialkot at cost of Rs5m, Remodeling of Jhika Gali Chowk, Tehsil and District Murree at the cost of Rs860.108m, Chief Minister’s Skilled Punjab Programme at the cost of Rs2.975bn and Development of a Controlled Access Corridor Facility from Niazi Interchange to Babu Sabu Interchange, Lahore at the cost of Rs11.796bn.
