KARACHI: Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) Chairperson Naheed Memon has said there are vast opportunities for bilateral investment between Pakistan and Germany.
She expressed these views in a meeting with the representatives of German-Pakistan Business Council at Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday. In a statement, the chairperson SBI also briefed the representatives about the recent visit of a Sindh government delegation to Germany. The meeting briefly discussed the exchange of modern technology and hurdles in investment.
Naheed said Germany was well developed in sectors of renewable energy, auto-mobile, health, education, housing, agriculture, science, technology, etc. She said to benefit from German technology, Pakistani traders should establish factories here with the help of German companies.
The investors working with German companies expressed their investment in Sindh. They informed the chairperson about the issues being faced by them. She assured full support to the investors.
