PhD thesis defended
PESHAWAR: Abdul Mateen, scholar at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Swabi, has defended his PhD thesis in the video Conference Hall.
His PhD dissertation entitled “Development and characterization of sorafenib-loaded chitosan-modified polymeric nanoparticles for the effective treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma” was supervised by Associate Professor Dr Abad Khan.
The thesis was evaluated by two professors Dr. Ge Liang, Professor of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences, Research & development of Sustained-release preparations & intelligent drug delivery system, China Pharmaceutical University, Nanjing, China and Dr Faisal Shakeel, Associate Clinical Scientist, Clinical Pharmacology and Early Development Immunology, Cardiovascular, Fibrosis & Neuroscience, Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), USA.The work was carried out in the Department of Pharmacy, University of Peshawar and in the Department of Pharmacy, University of Swabi.
