Misplaced priorities

The electricity problems of Pakistan have not improved much over the past two months. Only a small percentage of surplus electricity production by IPP’s has been cut, loadshedding is still conducted across much of the country and the circular debt is still piling up. The government has shown that they are capable of working day and night to help bring about new constitutional amendments.

But in the case of resolving the electricity problem which will help develop Pakistan, the rulers are clearly not interested. Can the government not work day and night to end this crisis for Pakistan?
