Two killed in Nowshera accidents

NOWSHERA: Two persons were in separate accidents in the district on Sunday.

A man identified as Dost Ali Shah was killed after being struck by a Karachi-bound train near Pirpiai in Azakhel.

Asad Jan, a resident of Pirpiai, reported to the police that he was at home when he received information that his brother, Dost Ali Shah had left the house and was heading towards GT Road.

During this time, while crossing the railway track, he was hit by train.

As a result, he died on the spot. The body was then taken to hospital in Nowshera, where it was handed over to the family after the post-mortem.

Meanwhile, a speeding car plunged into a ravine when the driver lost control over the vehicle in the Nizampur area of Piran, Nowshera.

One Fahim told the police at Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical Complex, that driver Raj Wali Khan was killed when his car fell into the gorge Piran area in Nizampur.

The deceased was brought to Qazi Hussain Medical Complex, but no formal report was filed.
