PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s former top golfer Dr Aimal Zaman passed away here on Sunday. He was around 63.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held here at Haji Sahib Turangzai Mosque Road Park, Phase-2, Hayatabad at 11.00 am.
The deceased was son of late Retd Maj Haider Zaman and father of Kaimoore Zaman and Zeerak Zaman. He was also cousin of Engr Baatur Zaman, Tahir Zaman, Shahid Zaman and Baryalay Khattak.
Late Dr Aimal Zaman was a prominent golfer and had secured various national and international titles. He was also awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the government of Pakistan.
The deceased had also served as chairman of the Board of Authority of Kaghan Development Authority and had served on that post for many years.
