26th Amendment shut backdoor to power: Rana Sana
Rana Sana says parliament had made appropriate choice in selecting Justice Yahya Afridi as Chief Justice of Pakistan
LAHORE: Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs and PMLN Punjab President Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that the release of Imran Khan’s wife and sisters was not the result of any deal. In a press conference on Saturday after a party meeting, he said the 26th Constitutional Amendment had shut the backdoor to power.
“On the one hand, economic stability is being achieved while, on the other hand, obstacles remain. We should work diligently and with awareness,” he said.
He also mentioned that parliament had made an appropriate choice in selecting Justice Yahya Afridi as the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Regretting Justice Mansoor Ali Shah’s use of language in his letter, he suggested that he could have simply left for Umrah and that would have been sufficient.
