MULTAN: The South Punjab Administrative Secretariat will organise the Pakistan’s first-ever Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Technological Advancement Expo and seminar here on November 7.
The secretariat has initiated preparations in this regard, officials said.
This event would showcase innovative scientific inventions and products models developed by public and private universities of the South Punjab. The SPAS has planned to support these products by assisting in obtaining patents, copyright protections and finding sponsors for commercial production.
On the directive of South Punjab Additional Chief Secretary Fuad Hashim, the expo would be held in eth city. Professors, researchers, students, industrialists, businesspersons and experts from various fields and secretaries from the South Punjab would attend the event.
In this connection, the SPAS held a meeting which was chaired by South Punjab Secretary Services Engineer Amjad Shoaib Khan Tareen to review the expo’s arrangements.
Speaking on the occasion, Shoaib Khan Tareen said that the AI and Technological Advancement Expo and seminar would encourage researchers in the South Punjab’s academic institutions, providing them with recognition and new income sources while the people would also be benefited from these innovations.
