DIG orders steps against outlaws

LAHORE : DIG (Operations) Muhammad Faisal Kamran Friday ordered police to intensify measures against individuals involved in illegal activities.

Meanwhile, Shahdara police rescued a three-month-old baby Ammar and detained the kidnapper.

Hadyara police detained drug dealers Nadir and Muneeb and recovered more than 4kg hashish from them.

Sabzazar police arrested accused Ali Hassan and seized an electronic scale and 2.4kg hashish from him.

Sherakot Police detained kite sellers Haris and Mujeeb-ur-Rehman and seized 1,000 kites, chemical-coated strings, and spools from them. Dolphin Squad arrested drug peddler Ali in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area and recovered 10 litre liquor from his possession.

Meanwhile, DIG held a meeting with representatives from various religious communities, including Sikh, Hindu, and Christian leaders. The meeting focused on discussing the protection and concerns of minority communities. He listened to the suggestions of the minority leaders and assured them of full cooperation.
