Workshop on ‘Animal Surgery’ concludes

LAHORE : A two-day hands-on training workshop on ‘Small Animal Orthopedic Surgery’ concludes at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) here on Friday.

Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Durrani presided over the concluding ceremony of workshop and distributed certificate among participants while Chairperson Department of Surgery Prof Dr Ayesha Hassan, Workshop Organising Secretary Dr Hamid Akbar, faculty members and number of participants were present.

Dr Mazhar Iqbal and Dr Akmal Rana were the resource persons of the training. During the workshop, renowned surgery experts imparted practical knowledge and hands on training to participants regarding introduction of veterinary orthopedics, intramedullary pining and bone plating etc.
