LAHORE: A polio awareness seminar and walk organised here saw participation from notable individuals from various walks of life. 

Speakers at the seminar included Zonal Coordinator Ishrat Shamim, Saeed Shamsi, Khalid Sindhu, Dr. Anas Qureshi, Dr. Shaheena Asif, Zainab Fareed Khan, Maulana Moeen, Mufti Omar Haideri, and Dr Zaki. 

They said that increase in polio cases in Pakistan is a cause for concern. There is a need to raise awareness about this debilitating disease. Both the government and Rotary International need to play crucial roles in making Pakistan polio-free.
