‘Quality research being promoted in medical varsities’
LAHORE : The 16th syndicate meeting of Rawalpindi Medical University was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique in the Department of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education here on Friday.
According to a handout, Parliamentary Secretary Zia ullah Shah, Special Secretary Development Syed Wajid Ali Shah officers were present while Rawalpindi Medical University Vice Chancellor Prof Muhammad Umar, faculty members and syndicate members participated through a video link. The relevant officers presented the agenda of the syndicate meeting. Khawaja Salman Rafique confirmed all the decisions of the 15th Syndicate meeting of Rawalpindi Medical University. During the Syndicate meeting, Budget of Rawalpindi Medical University 2024-25 was approved.
The minister said that quality research was being promoted in the medical universities of Punjab while transparency was being ensured in the financial affairs of medical universities.
