RAWALPINDI: England leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed was hopeful of making a comeback going into the third day (Saturday), saying that there was a lot to play for in the Test.
Rehan, who was speaking to the media, said in cricket you can never guess what is up for grab in next session.
“We had a good morning session with Pakistan staging a recovery later in the day. I am hopeful we can make a comeback going into the third day. There is a lot to play for in the Test.”
He added that he tried to keep a good line and length in an effort to put pressure on the opponents.
“I succeeded in taking wickets.”
Rehan was more impressive against right-handed batsmen in comparison to the left-handed batters against whom he looked ordinary.
