Islamabad:Islamabad Model Postgraduate College, H-8 emerged as the champion of the Federal Board Intercollegiate Volleyball Championship 2024, says a press release.
The team secured a dominant victory over Aghosh College Murree in the final, winning in straight sets with scores of 25/19, 25/16, and 25/12. A total of 36 colleges from across the country participated in the championship, making the competition fierce and challenging. The outstanding performance of H-8 college’s volleyball team earned high praise from the college administration. Professor Dr. Muhammad Khalid, Principal of the college, along with Vice Principals Prof. Baz Muhammad and Prof. Muhammad Azam, congratulated the team on their triumph. They commended the players’ dedication and hard work, which contributed to the college’s victory.
Special recognition was also given to Professor Waseem Raja, Head of Sports, and Shakeel, Game In-charge and team coach, Naveed for their guidance and efforts in preparing the team for the championship.
